This Community Sports Complex forms a key part of the Galeshewe Precinct Upgrades project. The facility provides much needed sporting amenities for the community which did not even have one public swimming pool to give respite from the notoriously high Kimberley temperatures. Amenities include an outdoor gym, two swimming pools (one for younger children), 7 A-side football pitch, a combi-court as well as ablutions, change rooms and lockers.  

The proposed design maximises the lands available by placing the support buildings, access road & parking along the perimeter. Back to back grand stands sandwich the swimming pool mechanical plant whilst providing seating for the swimming pool and soccer field. Access control point and a perimeter palisade fence secure the complex ensuring pool safety regulations are met as well as the general safety of the patrons. Our mandate for this project was limited to the provision of Stage 1-4 Architectural Services.
