This is a unique project in that the original Architects services were terminated after Council Approvals. We were then appointed as Architect & Principal Agent for the cost reduction re-design to completion of the 24 unit Affordable Housing Development.

Our challenge was to work within the original design layout since it was already approved by the Municipality. We carried out an extensive value engineering exercise by re-designing the internal layouts as well as refining the material and fittings specification to bring the project within budget. Construction was completed successfully in December 2021.
