We were appointed by Zanecebo Consulting (Pty) Ltd to design a 148 unit social housing development for their site in Selection Park, Springs. We prepared several proposals to assist our clients development funding application. Capital investment funding is approved, Local Authority approvals are currently underway. Construction is expected to start in March 2019.

Phase 1 of the project is limited to 96 Two Bedroom apartments, our design solution proposes two courtyard residential blocks, a playground, with parking located on the perimeter. The massing of the housing blocks is limited to three levels in order to comply with Geological and Local Authority height restrictions.

Our design provides the maximum allowable unit yield and achieves the highest & best use of the property. The architectural style was dictated by the extremely tight budget and keeps construction complexity and cost to a minimum.
